Let’s discuss them one by one:

Surgical Rhinoplasty:

The surgical correction of nose is done by surgeon’s manipulation of the nasal skin. Or we can say a surgeon perform incisional approach to correct the nasal abnormalities.

Surgical Rhinoplasy is classified into two classes

Open Rhinoplasty: In Open Rhinoplasty the surgeon make incision on the columella (the fleshy exterior end of the nasal septum). And then nasal bones, cartilage, and soft tissues are reshaped.

Close Rhinoplasty: In Close Rhinoplasty the surgeon performs every procedural incision exclusively within the nose and they did not cut the columella.

Other then columella incision the procedural approaches of both Open Rhinoplasty and Close Rhinoplasty are similar; still there are some features of Close Rhinoplasty

  • Because of no incision of columella there is less cutting of nasal tissue
  •  Shorter operating room time
  • Quicker post-surgical recovery
  • Decrease potential for the excessive reduction of the nasal-tip support
  • Less visible scar
  • Less swelling because of decreased edema.
  • Thus you can opt any option but consult your surgeon which one is suitable for your skin type.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty is a medical procedure in which a filler material is used to alter the shape and position of the nose. The most common fillers are hyaluronic acid ones like Restylane and Juvederm or calcium hydroxyapatite.

Non-surgical Rhinopasty have become more popular because of several advantages over Surgical Rhinoplasty.
